The boys' closet & bedroom!

With 3 boys sharing one small room I was running out of places to put their clothes. (I have been having to stack their pants on top of their dresser!!) So I talked to Tony and we decided to design a closet system and make it ourselves. Tony was super busy this last week with it being the first week of school and I was just too impatient to wait for him so I did it...all by myself!!! I have to say I was pretty impressed with myself...and Tony did tell me that it looked really good and he was impressed as well! We picked out paint on Saturday and I've spent all morning painting! I was going to paint all the walls, but realized that it was going to need 2 coats (it was darker than I thought it was going to be) so I only ended up doing 2 walls. Don't know if I'll go and get another gallon and finish or if 2 walls is enough??? Guess I'll see what Tony thinks. So here are some pictures!
This is the "before" picture.
This is how Rhett entertained himself while I was painting! He climbed up onto the top bunk and found some books to "read".
The finished product!
This is how I found Rhett when I was all done!! I guess I wore him out!:)

Playing Zorro & Robbers!

Caleb found the Zorro hat the other day and decided he wanted to make a mask to go with it so we pulled out some old scratch material and made a mask and a belt to hold his "sword". Then Eli decided he wanted to be a robber and so we made one for him as well. And then Rhett wanted to join in on the fun so he got one too! They played around all afternoon like this. I even had a friend call me and tell me that when they drove by they saw them outside running around playing with hats and masks on and got a good kick out of it! Boys will be boys!
